In December 2001 I received my Masters Degree in Architecture and Ecological Design from the San Francisco Institute of Architecture, a small graduate architecture school that provided me with a very creative and supportive environment. While there I studied with some of the leading and innovative architects and visionaries in the world of organic and ecological design. I spent a few months on an internship in Oracle, AR studying with Phil Hawes, the architect for the Biosphere II project. I also spent some time at Taliesin West, Frank Lloyd Wright's School of Architecture in Scottsdale, AR studying the local eco system for a design project. Here is a glimpse of some of the work I performed while at SFIA.
