This straw bale residence in Ashland, Oregon integrates natural building systems with site-responsive design strategies. The project emphasizes energy efficiency, constructability, and comprehensive residential construction documentation.

This very beautiful and unique home was inspired by some incredibly creative folks. The design process was such a fun adventure. It started with fairy vibes and old world visions and practices, lots of back and forth to get the floor plan and elevations just right, and ended with highly talented execution from local builders and the hearts and hands of the clients themselves.
