This straw bale cottage in Fallbrook, California was designed as a compact, energy-efficient residence using natural building systems. The project includes detailed wall sections and residential drawings developed for performance-focused construction.
This is the Applegate Cottage, one of my all time best selling designs. The Plans are available for sale on Strawbale.com. Of all of the Applegate plans that we have sold, this is one of the best executed build. Really nice attention to detail on the finish. And my client loved building his own home, he offered to help another client who built one of my other designs, the Sierra Verde. Excellent people, and an awesome home.
